Provider Relations Coordinator
Umpqua Health is recruiting for a Provider Relations Coordinator to support our mission of delivering high-quality, accessible care through strong partnerships with our provider network. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate provider data, facilitating effective communication, and supporting provider operations to ensure an excellent experience across our healthcare system. Your work will help build trust, streamline processes, and enhance the provider journey—all of which are critical to achieving organizational and community health goals.
Your Impact:
- Assist in planning and coordinating educational materials and onboarding sessions for new and existing providers.
- Serve as a reliable point of contact for provider inquiries, delivering timely support and escalating complex issues as needed.
- Gather and track provider feedback through surveys, reports, and one-on-one communications to drive improvement initiatives.
- Enter, validate, and maintain provider information in internal systems using Panda software to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collect and analyze provider data to identify trends, monitor performance, and support operational decision-making.
- Support tracking of performance and compliance metrics tied to Medicaid, CCO, and regulatory requirements.
- Foster strong, professional relationships with providers by ensuring consistent communication and positive engagement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support process improvement projects that enhance provider satisfaction and operational effectiveness.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support Umpqua Health’s Vision, Mission, and Organizational Values.
Your Credentials:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience managing and validating provider data in a healthcare setting.
- Prior experience working in a Managed Care Organization (MCO), Coordinated Care Organization (CCO), or Medicaid/Medicare environment strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; familiarity with provider data systems and reporting tools required.
- Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and documentation processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal stakeholders and external provider partners.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while maintaining accountability for results.
- Team-oriented mindset with a passion for service, adaptability, and continuous learning.
