Umpqua Health is seeking an organized and relationship-driven Provider Relations Coordinator to join our Provider Network team. In this role, you will support high-quality, accessible care by managing accurate provider data, coordinating onboarding and engagement activities, and fostering strong communication across our healthcare system. As a key liaison between providers and internal teams, your work will enhance provider satisfaction, streamline operational workflows, and contribute to UHA’s mission of improving health outcomes for our community. 

Your Impact: 

  • Develop and facilitate onboarding sessions and educational outreach for new providers, ensuring they are equipped with the tools, resources, and contacts necessary for successful integration into Umpqua Health’s network. 
  • Serve as the first line of support for provider inquiries by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and escalating complex or sensitive issues to the appropriate department while maintaining a high level of customer service. 
  • Design and implement feedback loops through provider satisfaction surveys, one-on-one interviews, and reporting dashboards to help drive continuous improvement and operational excellence. 
  • Input, validate, and regularly update provider demographic, credentialing, and affiliation data using Panda and other internal systems to ensure accuracy, compliance, and up-to-date reporting capabilities. 
  • Analyze trends in provider data to identify gaps in network adequacy, support value-based care initiatives, and assist in developing targeted engagement strategies for underperforming or high-impact providers. 
  • Monitor and track provider performance and compliance with Medicaid, CCO, and regulatory benchmarks, collaborating with compliance and quality teams to ensure timely follow-through on corrective actions. 
  • Foster strong, trust-based relationships with providers by maintaining open, proactive communication channels and ensuring they feel informed, supported, and valued as part of the care delivery ecosystem. 
  • Partner with internal stakeholders, including clinical, operations, and IT teams, to support collaborative projects that enhance the provider experience, reduce administrative burdens, and improve care coordination. 
  • Support ongoing efforts to refine and document internal workflows, policies, and procedures related to provider operations, ensuring consistent execution and regulatory readiness across the team. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support Umpqua Health’s Vision, Mission, and Organizational Values.

Your Credentials: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • At least 3 years of experience managing provider data or supporting provider operations within a healthcare delivery system. 
  • Prior experience in a Managed Care Organization (MCO), Coordinated Care Organization (CCO), or within a Medicaid or Medicare environment strongly preferred. 
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of provider data management systems, such as Panda; experience with reporting and analytics tools is a plus. 
  • Demonstrated attention to detail in managing large datasets and maintaining up-to-date, audit-ready provider records. 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to adapt messaging to both technical and non-technical audiences. 
  • Proven ability to prioritize, manage competing deadlines, and stay organized in a fast-paced, evolving environment. 
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset, a service-first attitude, and a genuine commitment to health equity and community care.
