POSITION PURPOSE |
- The purpose of the Provider Relations Coordinator is to support access to high-quality care by managing accurate provider data. As a key liaison between providers and internal teams, this role will enhance provider satisfaction, streamline operational workflows, and contribute to UHA’s mission of improving health outcomes for our community.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES |
- Input and regularly update provider demographic, credentialing and affiliation data using PNDA and other internal systems to ensure accuracy, compliance and up to date reporting capabilities.
- Receive, update and maintain delegated rosters and other provider rosters.
- Serve as a primary contact for provider inquiries related to roster, demographics, terminations/additions, etc.
- Collaborate with internal teams to analyze trends in provider data to identify gaps in network adequacy.
- Data entry and provider data maintenance.
- Assist in updating and creating Provider Relations policies/procedures and standing operating procedure (Sops).
- Assist with organizing provider meetings and correlating materials.
- Initiate data entry of provider-related demographic information changes and oversee completion of change requests for the network.
- Conduct activities to support organization’s assessment of provider access and availability.
- Assist in network adequacy studies.
- Assist the Department with internal and external audits.
- Project work, as assigned.
- Maintains positive working relationships with colleagues and provider personnel.
- Travel to community when there is a business need.
- Comply with organization’s internal policies and procedures, Code of Conduct, Compliance Plan, along with applicable Federal, State, and local regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support Umpqua Health’s Vision, Mission, and Organizational Values.

QUALIFICATIONS |
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent experience.
- Three years’ experience managing provider data and/or supporting provider operations within a health delivery system.
- Prior experience in a Managed Care Organization, Coordinated Care Organization, or health system.
- No suspension/exclusion/debarment from participation in federal health care programs (eg. Medicare/Medicaid)
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office suite
Preferred Qualifications- Credentialing experience and/or provider relations.
- Demonstrated attention to detail in managing large datasets.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Experience considering the impacts of the work on multiple communities, including communities of color, in technical analysis.
- Proven ability to prioritize, manage competing deadlines, and stay organized in a fast paced, evolving environment.
- Team players with a collaborative mindset and a commitment to health equity and community care.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools and working knowledge of provider data management systems, experience with reporting and analytic tools is a plus. Experience considering the impacts of the work on multiple communities, including communities of color, in technical analysis.

- Bi-lingual translation or translation capabilities a plus.
